Why Buy Footed Pajamas For Your Baby?
When it comes to babies and children's sleep wear, nothing beats footed pajamas. They are safe, comfortable and help keep babies healthy. There are many good reasons to buy them for babies and children. Plus, they bring back many pleasant memories for your own childhood or that of younger siblings.
Finding these garments is easy with stores selling them online. Best of all, you can have them delivered directly to you. Once you know the type and size you want, it is quick and convenient to purchase them.
Reasons for Buying Footed Pajamas for Babies
Babies' feet can get cold even when the room and the rest of their bodies are warm. One way to ensure that babies are warm and comfy throughout the night, especially during the winter months is to let them sleep in footed pajamas. These garments are made so that toddlers and children will not slip when walking.
It is important to remember baby's safety even when it comes to clothing and something as simple as sleepwear. Footed pajamas should not be too big as they can become tangled on objects or even wrapped around little feet as they move. It is always better to clothe babies in properly fitting garments day or night.
When buying footed pajamas for babies it is best to buy those made of stretchy material. These are more comfortable and give even room for moving babies without constriction.
It is also important to use sleepwear made of material suitable for the time of year. In winter those made of warm material such as flannels is best, while cottons are better for the warmer months of summer.
Reasons for Buying Footed Pajamas for Older Kids
Footed pajamas are great for older kids as well as babies. Some companies make these for children of varying ages. There are many reasons to buy these sleep wear for your big kids, such as:
* If they need to make a dash for the bathroom in the middle of the night, there is no need to find a pair of slippers. Parents can rest assured that their feet will be nice and warm even on cold floors.
* Many kids kick off their blankets when they sleep. With footed pajamas you can be sure they are nice and war, even if the blanket goes.
Baby and children's footed pajamas help make sleep time hassle-free for them and their caregivers. In addition, some older kids look forward to getting ready for bed as they are dressed in sleepwear featuring their favorite animals.
These all-in-one nightwear come in a wide variety of plain colors as well as design. Many features animals, fruits, toys, in fact, just about any object a child will like.
Not only do these pieces of clothing keep babies safe and warm, they also help parents be more relaxed as there is less to worry about. With properly fitting sleepwear, parents know their son or daughter is warm, comfy and most of all, safe from harm.

Moms- how much would you pay for these baby items at a yard sale? And some other yard sale questions..?
My mom and I are preparing to have a yard sale this weekend, and I’m not sure how to price my twins’ outgrown clothes or even how to sort them.
So, a few questions…
1: Would you sell onesies (the kind that come in packs at walmart, like Carter’s) separately, or put them together in groups and sell them that way? I was thinking like $2 for several or either 25 or 50 cents if individually…
2: Should I group newborn socks together or put them all in a box and say “so many for $1″ or “10 cents each”?
3: Would you group outfits (pieces that came together, like shirt and shorts) together or leave them separate? This question is mostly so I can my husband that it was a dumb idea to just throw everything out there and say “$1 a piece for everything.”
And finally, how much would you pay for these baby items at a yard sale? All are sized 12 months and under.
-onesies sold by the pack at stores
-nicer onesies sold individually at stores
-sleepers (the nicer sleepers that newborns constantly wear)
-Pajama sleepers
-local college sports attire (football is a big deal around here, especially college)
-boutique type outfits (the kind that run $20+ retail. nicer looking overalls and outfits).
-baby shoes, several that look as if they were never worn
Thanks so much for the help. I’ve never done a yard sale, so I’m new at it.
Okay, if I hang all the baby clothes up, is it okay if I ask to keep the hangers when someone buys something, or would that be considered rude?
Garage sale prices too high or to low?
Im having a garage sale and im done pricing all clothes. What are reasonable prices for the clothes? I priced them by the condition and brand.Baby clothes mostly .25 cents .50-.75 cents girl clothes, pajamas, dresses .50 cents mens shirts,polos,t-shirts .50 cents,.50 cents womens blouses, shorts, sweaters, tank tops $1 jeans, dressing pants,purses,$3 levies, coats.
Has anyone seen TERRY CLOTH toddler pajamas/footed sleepers for sale?
In the 1980s and 90s these were great, but were soon replaced by cheap fleece blanket sleepers…I’d like to find these again. They don’t make the baby sweat like fleece does.
How much can I expect to get for my baby clothes at Kid to Kid?
I want to take my kids clothes to Kid to Kid (in Arizona) and I want to know how much you think I will get for the clothes. For example, I have onsies, jeans, shorts, shirts, and pajamas. All of them are Gap, Old Navy, Carters, or Gerber. Should I try and sell them at a yard sale instead? I know they give more if you take store credit. So any ideas?
1. I personally like seeing these things grouped in ziplock bags together (like they would come from in the store.) 4 or 5 onsies for $1, depending on the brand. However, when I did my yard sale, I had everything hung up and priced these cheap onsies for 25 cents each.
2. I would group them together, say 10 pairs of the same style/size in a labeled ziplock and charge 50 cents or $1 for the bag. No one is seriously going to pick through a bin to buy one pair of socks.
3. Yes, group outfits together. If you have clothes pins on hand, just attach them to the bottom of the hanger to clip the pants on.
I’m a huge bargain hunter and I know what prices are at various stores, consignment shops, online, etc. So…my prices will be a little stricter than some people will pay. Good rule of thumb, people hunting garage sales are looking for a deal…not for you to make money. These are the prices *I* would pay at a yard sale:
-onesies sold by the pack at stores
*No more than 4 for $1
-nicer onesies sold individually at stores
*50 cents to a $1 depending on how cute the phrase or picture is, also depending on brand.
-sleepers (the nicer sleepers that newborns constantly wear)
*$1 if they are in fantastic condition.
-Pajama sleepers
*$1 if they are in fantastic condition
-local college sports attire (football is a big deal around here, especially college)
*Ooooh, I pay a lot more for these things, because we all like to sport them. I have paid up to $5 for used college team appearal.
-boutique type outfits (the kind that run $20+ retail. nicer looking overalls and outfits)
*At a yard sale, $2 tops. Online (ebay,) I’d pay a little more…maybe up to $10 if I was in love with the outfit.
-baby shoes, several that look as if they were never worn
*Anywhere from $2-$5 per pair, depending on style, size, and sole.
And since this is your first yard sale here’s a couple of tips: Mark prices clearly but be willing to negotiate and display everything (people do NOT like to rummage through boxes or piles of junk on a table.) If you don’t have a clothing rack, run clothes line and hang all the clothes up, and fold or lay the rest neatly on a table.
*No, not rude at all to keep hangers. Most people expect they will not take them home.
I took my first daughter’s clothes there once and it was at least two bags full (garbage size bags) and i only got around $10!! I was very upset all of her clothes were name brand in in excellent condition. I now sell them on e-bay or have a yard sale. Kid to kid is not worth it.
OMGSH I love them and Carter’s & OshKosh still make them, I just bought some for my 2yr old and my newborn (not due til Jan) at Kohl’s last weekend, check there if you have one in your area or on their website http://www.kohls.com. But since their made by Carter’s & OshKosh try a factory store in your area. http://www.carters.com or http://www.oshkosh.com you can locate the one closest to your location.
Does anyone know of any good black friday online sales for baby stuff?
I am looking for clothes, mainly sweaters, hats, and pajamas for my 3 month old daughter for Christmas! I’m also looking for a jumper and walker. Also, maybe some in store sales that are going on all weekend?
