Designer Toddler Clothes: Create Your Own Using Easy Appliqué And Embellishment

When it comes to having stylish, one of-a-kind toddler clothes, it might seem that the only way to get these is by spending large amounts of money on designer items. However, by using techniques such as embellishment and appliqué, parents can create elaborate and unique toddler clothing which will rival any boutique clothing you can find.

The business of children products is one of the largest industries in the world, with thousands of companies providing various toys, clothing, bedding, educational products, etc for children. Often, manufacturing companies will draw from generic designers, and utilize large production runs of items. This tends to keep prices lower so it is not all bad - a good thing in fact! But it does result in many identical versions of toddler clothes being released to consumers. This limits choice somewhat and means that to get individuality you may have to pay higher prices. But by using appliqué to embellish your baby clothing, not only will your child have unique clothes which cannot be found in retail stores, you can also have the privilege of personalizing these items to suit your child's taste and personality.

Appliqué is a simple way to create fabulous layered bold patterns and designs on your toddler's clothes at a fraction of the cost of designer items. The process works in a similar way to children using construction paper, by cutting differrent colored paper shapes and using these to create various images. However in appliqué various pieces of printed fabrics can be used to replace these colored papers. Cut the fabric into any shape you like and stitch it into place with colorful thread to create an individual and unique piece of clothing. You can also sew on large buttons or any other decorations that you feel work. Just make sure to attach them securely so they cannot be pulled off easily.

If you want to take designing your own creations a little further some ideas for appliqué for special occasions include your child's name or the name of their mother or father. Birthday party celebrations can be incorporated into a uniquely crafted clothing design using your child's age. You can even go as far as to create a layered design of your baby's favorite cartoon character or animal. Your toddler will have clothing which is truly unique and special.

Another great use for appliqué is to recycle! Toddler clothes are susceptible to becoming dirty, worn and damaged, as we all know. Embellishment and appliqué is also a great way of covering stains or worn patches and bringing that old favorite back to life and at the same time giving your toddler something truly unique and special to wear.

Does anyone have suggestions on how I can design my logo the company is Baby Me Twice Boutique?
The logos that I see have either a descriptive picture or design to go a long with the business name. I am having a problem thinking about what to use for my Logo. I want cursurve writing and a small design or picture of something. My store sells brand new boutique clothing and shoes for babies and toddlers. Any suggestions would really be helpful as they will really help me start thinking about what would work.

Please tell me some good brand names of clothing sold at a children’s boutique?
Please tell me some good boutique clothing brands for babies and toddlers?
I am looking for children’s boutique clothing brands that are high quality but still a good price. They should be high quality brands that you can not buy at a department store but are sold at children and baby boutiques. Also I don’t want the brands that cost like $100 a dress, but the ones where everyone can afford them.

I am co-owner of a remodeling business, and we used Logo Bee for our logo, and are very happy with it. We have received many compliments on it from our clients. It looks extremely professional and is exactly what we wanted, was about $400. Was well worth the money.

Logo bee will ‘re-work’ your proposed logo too until you’re happy with it. The funny thing was, one of the 7 logos they drew up was the one we picked, and it didn’t require any changes at all.

Be careful with the ‘extras’ they try to sell you, forms, etc. they’re not always worth it. also, when you’re filling out your information for them about what you are and what you want, be as descriptive as possible because that will really help them imagine your business and what you’re all about.

You can see our logo on our web page http://www.allphase-remodeling.com

I want to open a children’s boutique, but how do I do this and where can I buy wholesale children’s clothes?
I would love to open an infant-toddler’s clothing boutique in my area, but I have no idea where to buy wholesale clothes at a decent price. I want all the good brands like Baby Lulu, Biscotti, Greggy Girl, Chicken Noodle, Baby Nay, My Vintage Baby, etc. I don’t even know what kind of budget I’m going to need to do this. Do any of you know where I can find wholesale websites or catalogs for these types of products?

Please don’t put your toddler through the horrors of pageant life. I really don’t understand why mothers do this to their children.

I agree. Wait to see if there is a demand for the large sizes before jumping in. Your customers will let you know what they want.
